Company profile:

Telonic: Secure networks for 40 years

The system house Telonic, headquartered in Cologne, has been developing IT network solutions and their protection against internal and external risks for companies from a wide range of industries since 1979. Never before has this topic been more talked as it is today: ransomware, spyware and other attacks are the risks that can endanger the existence of a company in the course of digitalisation.

More than 1,000 customers trust in the high-performance network and security solutions of Telonic's team of experts - regardless of whether they have wired or wireless systems. The focus is on quality, highest security levels, fail-safety, simple management and future-proof installations. As a manufacturer-independent system house, Telonic can always use the best solutions for customer projects and thus manufactures the digital future. Regardless of the size of turnover or the number of employees, global corporations or medium-sized companies are among the users of the wide range of offered services, which go far beyond the delivery and installation of hardware or software. Many companies are now delegating a large part of their critical IT tasks to Telonic, because of the 24/7 support.

Telonic assumes the role of an external IT department and monitors customer networks 24x7x365 for malfunctions and incidents. For this purpose, the company has its own SNOC support (Security Network Operation Centre) in Germany. In the event of problems, the appropriate measures can be taken immediately to ensure the security and integrity of the customer systems at all times.

ISO-certified service
Telonic offers its LifeLine service so that complex IT infrastructures work correctly. The IPrunner is a specially developed technology that monitors the functioning of a network proactively. More than half of Telonic employees work in the service department and are available to assist in tasks ranging from the analysis of the current situation to the design of an ideal network solution and daily operation.
Telonic's information security management system is certified according to ISO/IEC 27001.

HUMBOLDT makes logs logic
Telonic's experts have developed the HUMBOLDT Security Action Platform to support its customers in security monitoring. With the help of artificial intelligence, alarm messages with specific instructions are generated for a SOC. HUMBOLDT correlates and evaluates the almost unmanageable number of security-relevant log entries from different sources, and afterwards provides the employee with actions. These necessary actions can be performed by the company itself or by Telonic employees. New alarms without specific instructions are evaluated by the Telonic Computer Emergency Response Team (T-CERT) and provided with instructions in HUMBOLDT. HUMBOLDT learns and forms a constantly growing AI database with every new incident. Security experts in companies thus have gained an enormous amount of time and can fill the free contingents with other tasks in the course of progressive digitalisation.

Data and its processing depend on smoothly operating networks - across all locations, buildings and production sites or administrative units of a company or organisation. Telonic sees itself as a partner in mastering this daily challenge.
Typical customers range from industry and logistics, administration as well as health, education and finance to energy companies.
